Setting "Max Contacts" for Endpoint Manager

Hello!

The Endpoint Manager is setting “Max Contacts” to “1” for PJSIP endpoints.
I like to use a higher number so I can use additional softphones with the same sip endpoint.
If I would change it manually, the endpoint manager would overwrite the setting, I guess.

Is there a way to change the default max contacts value that the endpoint manager uses (for snom phones)?

Hey there- I’ve increased the Max Contacts number by going to Applications>Extensions. Edit the extension in question. Go to Advanced, and then look for the Max Contacts option.

I don’t know of Endpoint Manager setting Max Contacts. AFAIK, that is an extension setting, and I don’t see a global setting for that value to default to anything other than 1.

Yes, it’s an extension setting.
But the endpoint manager overwrites it. You get a warning if you try to change that manually on an endpoint with a phone, that was connected with the Endpoint Manager.

How is the EPM overwriting this? They have no direct relationship.
