Hello everyone,
We have multiple background customers and mainly the leave English VM but some are leaving in French.
I am using the Scribe and we have no problem with transcription the English to Text but not for the French language.
Is there any why to make the Scribe transcript the English and French simultaneously?
Howdy! Welcome to the forums. Would you accept that you’d use twice as many minutes every month because you are doing twice as many transcriptions ?
I believe, based on the OPs post, they have people leaving voicemails in French. When Scribe does the transcription it is only doing it in English, i.e. it doesn’t recognize the French being spoken and the final transcription in English is highly incorrect.
The ask here is can Scribe recognize both English and French at the same time and create the transcription in the proper language.
ACK and FYI Scribe does support static multi-lingual, as configured by the PBX admin e.g. you can set to French across the board and always get French transcriptions. The question of dynamic multi-lingual is more complicated; therefore, if doing the work twice is acceptable, then it could be incorporated into a future Scribe update that allows you to check two language boxes instead of one.
