Scribe has stopped transcribing

It shows it’s Licensed:

Licensing shows a Clock instead of a green check - what does that mean?

But the Scribe Console says everything is great:

It seems like Scribe doesn’t even know it’s not working - Anybody else seen this? I am submitting a ticket next, but it’s frustrating that it just quits working - it would be (somewhat) more OK if it threw up an error, but every indication I have says it’s fine, licensed, and working - but it’s not!

Greg

When did it stop transcribing ?

The Scribe console donuts are confusing… 98% remaining there but per first image “User licenses” it should be more like 60% remaining ?

Can you check your disk space utilization ?

Disk space is fine:

And yes - Why don’t the two panels agree on the usage?

I don’t know when it stopped - they complained yesterday afternoon.

Would you please DM me the ticket number ?

Just got off the phone with support - here is what fixed it:

fwconsole ma downloadinstall framework

and then

fwconsole chown

And they started transcribing again - weird.

Hmmm…postscript to this message - got another call today that it wasn’t working again - bad communication - it never worked for the person that had initially complained, but she was not showing me the one that wasn’t transcribing.

Because Scribe won’t let you transcribe a Virtual Extension (which this was) - you can’t select it for transcription!

Why can’t you transcribe a Virtual Extension? You certainly can have VoiceMail on a Virtual Extension - why won’t Scribe let you select it?

Added in engineering queue to take a look. Thanks for highlighting this.
