Saving Call Recordings To NAS


Currently call recordings are stored as per default /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/

I need these to be stored to our NAS system for central sharing across our different offices.

I am banging my head against the wall here on how to overcome it. Basically we need to change the directory root. I still want to have everyone login by the ARI to access the recordings for regulation purposes.

Any suggestions would be good :slight_smile:


You haveseveral options:-

  1. Mount a NAS based share on /var/spool/asterisk/monitor

  2. program something in your “post call recording script” in advanced settings.

  3. change your default directory in “Directory Layout” also in advanced layout
    (you might need to enable display and overide settings to do that )

Each option has it’s limitations . . .
