Sangoma Talk vs Desktop - recording calls

Hi,

not sure if this is by design.

when I set my extension to not record… the Sangoma Desktop app recognized this and I’m unable to record from the desktop app, but the mobile app still allows recording of the call regardless of the record settings.

is this by design or a posslible bug, if anyone knows..

Hi @ccc-canada ,

This is by design in the mobile app and it is expected. Recordings are stored locally on the device’s memory and are not associated with PBX recording settings.
