Sangoma Talk dependencies on Android

I have a unique situation and am hoping someone can help me out.

I am using a mobile device manager to manage Samsung devices. We are using the Samsung Knox Domain Filter to apply the following filter policy:

  1. Block www.google.com for all apps.
  2. Allow www.google.com for specific apps.
  3. Allow Sangoma Talk full internet access.

This all works as expected for all apps EXCEPT Sangoma Talk. For Sangoma Talk, the instant I apply rule number 1, it stops registering.

It appears there is a dependency somewhere that Sangoma relies on that is being blocked by rule number one. So the question is, which app is it?

Anyone have any ideas?

I can try to find a response from that, unless @kgupta already knows the answer.

Sangoma Talk is based on Acrobits and Acrobits relies on Call Kit like most mobile apps do. Call kit is a android/google feature so that most likely is where your issue is.

could be domains like googleapis.com or firebase.com being blocked ?
