I have an iPad with Sangoma Talk installed. The Talk app extension 2011 is registered with my PBX. When I dial Talk extension 2011 from another extension, the iPad will show a a notification at the top of the screen
Calling User Name
Sangoma Talk Audio… (red X) (blue checkbox)
but the Ring Tone will not sound. I can click on the blue checkbox and proceed with 2-way voice. Yes the volume is all the way up on the iPad.
Another problem. In the Talk app - Settings - Preferences - Ringtones - Choose any ringtone. The ringtone will not sound.
The Talk app can be the active app or in the background. The notification is displayed, but the ringtone is not sounded.
What can prevent the ringtone from being sounded?
I was about to post this topic and I found the problem. On the iPad - Settings - Sounds - Silent Mode was enabled!
