Sangoma portal redirection not working *on EOL S-Series phones* [TITLE EDIT BY MOD]

I registered a Sangoma S505 in Sangoma portal redirection and it doesn’t even show up in the Poll list in the Sangoma Portal. I’ve reset the phone several times. And I installed the lates available firmware. I ran into this issue with another customer on another network and ended up setting it up manually. So I believe this to be an issue with the Sangoma portal. Is there a solution for this?

I opened a ticket with Sangoma support, Case #02139606 and the replied back:

We are currently experiencing a redirection server issue that is affecting the provisioning of S series phones via the portal.
In the meantime, you can manually provision your phone or use option 66. 


Please expect more updates soon and thank you for working with support towards a resolution. In the interim, the topic’s title was updated to reflect that these are EOL phones. The direct replacement for the S505 is the P325. More details at: End-Of-Life (EOL) - Sangoma Technologies

Following recent server security upgrades, these phones are no longer compatible with the Sangoma redirection server and no further firmware upgrade is planned for the S-Series phones as the last of these went End Of Life in 2023. Therefore, the manual provisioning and/or local DHCP server option 66 (as mentioned before) are the recommended methods to reconfigure these devices on your securely isolated local network, until such time as you are able to upgrade to supported P-Series phones.
