Sangoma Phone App problem with too many voicemail messages

It’s the second time that someone reports this issue to me:

The Sangoma Phone App (on Windows) stops showing the new voicemail indicator when the user reaches around 50 voicemail messages, old or new (not 100% sure of the exact number). As soon as the old messages are deleted, the voicemail indicator starts to work again.

Has anyone else seen this issue ? This time it’s on pbxAct but I’ve seen it on FreePBX also
