Sangoma Endpoint Manager module on FreePBX 16 was licensed for 25 years, but now it's asking for renewal and has been has been disabled by Sangoma

Hello,

I’d like to mention something that came up with the Sangoma EndPoint Manager module for FreePBX — it’s licensed for 25 years — on our FreePBX 16 box.

With date, 16 de june de 2026, our account Manager in Sangoma portal, told us:

"Hi

The module doesn’t expire until 11/05/2048 but updates have, this is what you can renew.
The cost to renew the updates for 1 year is $35.82

Thanks"

We didn’t renew the module for updates.

But now when we try to access the module I see this message

"You must immediately renew your license to restore access to the web interface and continue receiving security and other important updates. Please refer to our wiki documentation for more information on renewing your module licenses: https://sangomakb.atlassian.net/xxxxxx

What does ‘The module doesn’t expire until 11/05/2048 but updates have’ mean?
If the module doesn’t expire until 11/05/2048 why I cannot Access it?

If I don’t want to update the module because I do not need new phones why I must renew it for updates.

I asked that to my Account Manager in the Sangoma Portal but I didn’t get any answer from her.

What version of the module are you running ? You can find this in the Module Admin page of the web interface. (Screenshots of the list of modules and other warning/error messages would be helpful as well.)

Also, are you only using the official Sangoma FreePBX mirror servers ? See this post for more details about security and other problems with alternatives: Avoid walking the plank with expired modules

Hello,

This is the modules I’ve installed. All are from Sangoma Mirrors,
