Sangoma Desktop Phone - in-app upgrade does not work

Dear sangoma devs,

the in-app upgrade does not work, actually does nothing.

I was told to upgrade the app via the “app”, because when i asked: when I pushed out the v4.1 version it didn’t upgrade the previous version 4.06 (not sure on exact versions), but instead installed the new version along side the previous version. I use MS intune to deploy upgrades and installations..

50+ systems can’t be wrong… please fix the issue, as well add some visual queues, so you know something is happening.

I think when you deploy Sangoma Phone Desktop using a deployment software like Intune you have to uninstall the previous version before installing the new one.
I had a simular issue when I tried to push an upgrade of the app to multiple machines. Also Intune will probably install the app system wide for all users in Windows. In this case a user cannot upgrade the app via the UI. This only works if you installed Sangoma Phone Desktop with your local user account. Then the app will be installed inside your users AppData folder.
