Sangoma connect with sip station

can call and receive calls from mobile client and ucp, but cannot send messages or receive them. sipstation says did is sms capable, i have a licensed user and extension. sms is enabled freepbx side. but i get invalid did. any ideas?

Being capable and being active are two different things. Did you active SMS on said number?

under account configuration/metered services sms is enabled $5/$25

And you have confirmed with SIPStation it is working right? If you send a message to that number, does SIPStation see it being received?

i have no idea how to track if sipstation receives it. i dont see anything in the system logs
