We have a FreePBXDistro 100 unit with an A200 card installed but under Dahdi we are seeing no hardware detected;

I am also seeing this error in the notifications area which looks like it is related to dahdi;

Any idea what I need to do to get the hardware detected? The lights on the card are lit and the lines are connected

(H.Yavari) #2

Please connect to server via SSH and run this commands to see card hardware is OK or not:

#> lspci
#> wanrouter status

Router is stopped !

(H.Yavari) #4

So hardware is OK.
run:
#>wanrouter restart
and check again

(James) #5

Getting this:

[root@XanFreePBX ~]# wanrouter restart

Router is already stopped !

ERROR: Wanpipe configuration file not found:
/etc/wanpipe/wanpipe1.conf

(H.Yavari) #6

So there is a problem on configurations.
You need to configure your DAHDI again via GUI.

#7

You probably need to perform the initial wanpipe configuration

Take a look at https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PC/Quick+Configuration

(James) #8

Thanks, followed this and got it going.
Only thing now is i am still getting the ‘unable to write to /etc/wanpipe/global.conf’ error on my notification area. Is there a particular reason why this would still happen?

(James) #9

I do also keep seeing this appear below it too.

#10

Just click on the X

(James) #11

Yeah have done a few times it just comes back

#12

Check the file existence, ownership and permissions

(Franck Danard) #13

Are you able to see something on boot about wanpipe error?

(James) #14

Yes it fails to read the file

(James) #15

So i winscp’d to the machine and the file global.conf in the wanpipe folder doesnt exist at all. Should I have it? Do I need it? Can I disable ‘Sangoma Digum mode’ like it says? What functionality will i lose by doing this?

#16

You can create it as an empty file.

(Franck Danard) #17

Do you have any error when you launch: fwconsole restart
Like this :

(Franck Danard) #19

Ok, so nothing is bad here.
No idea about your issue, sorry.

(James) #20

@danardf
No problem thanks for looking. While you are there since you have the ‘Sangoma’ badge. Can you take a look at my other thread?

Ever since upgrading my machine seems to keep deactivating itself even though its a Freepbx appliance and we have commercial module licences.
