Ringtone for Call Center

Our agents are hearing the default ringtones 8 hours a day. Is there a preferred friendly ring alert that is less annoying. A beep or chirp perhaps?

Depends a lot on the phone. I know that the Cisco phone ring tones can be replaced and that the Polycom phones have different ring tones that can be selected.

The devices we are using can upload a WAV or MP3 as the ringtone. I’ve tested a few different sounds from our audio production group but was wondering what the “standard” was.

In the call center I support, we use phones that ring the BLF and don’t use a ring tone. Asfar as “standards” go, I doubt you’re going to find two IT guys that even agree on what color the phone should be, let alone something like the ring tone. :slight_smile:
