Ring-groups not completing internally

First post, but I have lurked for a bit. Always appreciate the help I see in the forums. I am having an issue with ring-groups on a freepbx system not working when dialed from an internal extension.

Extensions work when direct dialed. Ring group works when set up with an inbound route and called externally. All extensions are internal for departments to be able to share incoming calls. I have tried it with multiple ring strategies, made sure no call forwards could be an issue, and don’t see much in the logs regrading the issue.

In the CDR it shows the extension dialing from-internal to the ring-group, then being denied.

Current asterisk version is 13.22.0

Can you paste the half dozen lines around that in so we can see the error. I have a theory, but don’t want to look any stupider than normal.

Extension Dialing from is 3089
Group is 3800

I’ll bet you have the Class of Service module installed.

It appears we do. I haven’t used this module that much, so I guess it is “learning experience” time. I’ll respond when I have an update. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.

Looks like it was a Class of Service issue. I added the test extension to the allowed field under ring groups, and it allowed test calls.

Thanks for the suggestion.
