Restore not showing FTP files and Backup not deleting old FTP files

Hi all,
Backup and Restore 17.0.5.62
Filestore 17.0.2.34

Filestore has FTP configured to connect to a Windows 2016 Server with FTP service running.
I set the File System Type: Windows because the FTP folder is running on a Windows server.

Backup and Restore - Backup tab has a backup job
Storage Location: Local and the filestore FTP server.
Maintenance -
Delete After Runs: 0
Delete After Days: 30

The Restore tab
Restore from local cache shows the last 30 days of local back files to choose from. (this is correct)
Restore from the cloud shows no entries (this is wrong, there should be files listed). Also the FTP sever folder contains 60+ .tar.gz files. The backup job is creating the files but they are not being deleted if older than 30 days.

I received this warning message each time I opened the Backup and Restore module.

I changed the Filestore - FTP - File System Type: from Windows to Auto. Now the warning message is not displayed, Restore from the cloud now lists files and the FTP folder files older than 30 days have been deleted.

Conclusion is that the File System Type should be set to Auto even if the FTP folder is on a Windows Server.

Better error handling and display is probably needed here. That said, to provide historical context, I remember writing this back in the day and while I don’t remember specifics we had to go through a whole mess for windows ftp servers and doing things “the Microsoft way”. With updates they are probably using a newer version of the underlying library which may fix things we had to work around. I would suggest filing a bug report at GitHub - FreePBX/issue-tracker: The unified FreePBX issue tracker. it may make sense to change a few things for new versions.
