Hey Boys and Girls,
I’m working on writing up a DR plan for our pbx server and have hit a bit of a problem that I hope someone here can help with.
I have a server 16.0.41.5) that is running nicely and is backing up daily, weekly and monthly using the “backup and restore” module to Wasabi, an S3 compatible service that I’ve got setup in “filestore”. That all seems to be working nicely.
I decided today that it would be a good idea to have a process documented to recover from the backup in case anything ever goes wrong.
I span up a new vm, installed the same version of freepbx, did the initial setup bits, added the filestore using the same credentials as the “original” server. Head to backup and restore → restore and….. “This feature requires filestore be setup and may not be availible on a clean install” with no backups showing.
Now, I guess that I could either download the backup from Wasabi and upload through the gui or upload to the local cache (/var/spool/asterisk/backup I think) and restore that way BUT I would really like to avoid that if possible.
Is there a command I can run from the console or something I can initiate from the GUI to get it to populate that list with the existing backups.
