RESOLVED Upgraging New Track

Hello,

I am on 3.211.63-10 and want to go to the new 4.211 stable. I understand i will have to perform all the upgrades to get there. I am having a problem with the first one. GO FIGURE! lol.

heres what i found:

3.211.63-100- Click on link for full release notes. This will take your 3.211.63 version system to a 4.211.64-1 version and track. 4.211.64 is the current Beta track so only go here if you want to play with the Beta track. Run this script.

when i run this script i get:

/upgrade-3.211.63-to-4.211.64-1.sh
Check to make sure this is a FreePBX Distro system before executing
This appears to be a FreePBX Distro system as it has a Distro Version of 3.211.63-10
Make sure this is version 3.211.63-7 or greater before executing
This system is 3.211.63-10 and it needs to first be upgraded to 3.211.63-7 or newer. Please view our wiki on the Distro

However i am newer than 63-7? WHat do i need to do? Really looking forward to upgrading.

This is a known bug. There is another post about a fix.

(MODERATOR EDIT) The script has been updated and will work fine now)

I definantly dont see another post? But did figure out what the problem was. For anyone else with the problem:

the script looks at the first number of the last two numbers of the distro version so it thinks its 3.211.63-1 instead of 3.211.63-10. Its like office space and the millennium lol. changing /etc/schmooze/pbx-version to 3.211.63-9 fixed the problem for me.

I would like to know what the other fix was?

thanks
Brian

No use the new script that handles this correctly. I just updated the script
