Resellers and STIR/SHAKEN Attestation Gap

VoIP integrators/resellers:

If you originate from one SIP provider and terminate over another, how are you all overcoming the “attestation gap” of STIR/SHAKEN? I’m not a large enough provider to sign my own calls and I don’t want to be forced to send my outbound traffic through the carrier from whom I purchased the DID.

Why do I feel like I’m the only one with this problem?

Ideally your provider should send a B attestation if you provide them with your list of legitimate DID’s, and they trust you, some currently provide that facility, some unfortunately don’t. . . .

How does it work with FollowMe when sending the Caller’s CID to the external callee?

The same as if you called someone with a DID not from the same carrier you sent the call out. It will get a B level at best.
