Reminder/wake-up call module

Hi Guys,

It would be great if we had a telephone reminder / wake-up call module for FreePBX. I tried this module which is developed for PBX in a Flash:

It works fine on FreePBX but does not run as a FreePBX module i.e. it has it’s own web interface in /reminders/

It would be really geat if one of the FreePBX team could modify it to become an official module and then we can start to improve on it.

It would be more appropriate if the PIAF team who wrote the code moved it to the FreePBX module format.

This module requires that you buy one Cepstral voice for $30. Without the voice the module won’t work. My personal opinion is that this requirement is beyond the scope of FreePBX.

The reminders program works just fine with flite, no license required.

IT DOES WORK, JUST YOU GET AN ADVERTISMENT BEFORE THE MESSAGE WHICH IS QUITE
FINE ANYWAY.
