Hello guys, I get this error message right out of the blue, all configruation changes are ignored by that:
Sangoma Desktop Client Supervisor License Expired or Limit Exceeded.Your license allows a maximum of 0 supervisors, but the current configuration includes 1 supervisors. To comply with your license, please remove the extra supervisors from the User Management system.
Has anyone an ides where exactly to look up to silve this iussue??
THX a lot for any help!!!
Sangoma had been running a beta testing period for their queue features that go along with Sangoma Phone Desktop client. During the beta period, a small amount of licenses were available free of charge. Now that the features are out of beta, they have a cost associated to keep using them. As such, to remove the error, you navigate to User Management > pick a user > Sangoma Talk tab > Sangoma Phone Desktop Client sub tab. Here you will see towards the bottom a Call Supervisor Permission section. If you have an permissions assigned to the user with no licenses available you’ll see an area and can remove the permissions with the by clicking the red circle with the slash through it and then clicking submit. Once you’ve gone through all of the users in User Management to verify that there are no permissions assigned, you should be able to run a reload.
I just had this same issue on a couple of systems. I was less than pleased to find this was the way Sangoma chose to address invalidating the beta licenses.
Please refer to the below wiki which has information about useful fwconsole CLI commands to adjust the license from migrating from beta
to proper license
system.
