Registration failed due to wrong password

Hello! I’m trying to install a Cisco 7975G on my FreePBX system. Everything else is fine, but when the phone tries registering, Astericks logs show: “[2024-03-20 17:02:55] NOTICE[2286] chan_sip.c: Registration from ‘sip:[email protected]’ failed for ‘192.168.1.106:51358’ - Wrong password”.

I’m not exactly sure where I’m supposed to input this password, but I’m pretty sure that it’s referring to the extension password. I’m very new at this so don’t make me feel dumb on purpose, please. Thanks!

authPassword on the phone must match Secret for the extension. Some devices have issues with special characters or field width, so set a value consisting of no more than 15 letters and digits. Copy/paste to be sure they match.

Also, confirm that you are actually using chan_sip.
