Hi again all,
So here’s my problem: Every Monday morning, for the past 5+ weeks, my customers phones are disconnected from the PBX. I go in to check the logs, everything is deleted… In order to get the phones to reconnect to the PBX, I have to change the RTP port to 5061 (or if already 5061, back to 5060). That seems to be the only way to get them to reconnect… then the following Monday morning, I have to do it all over again.
Anyone have any ideas?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
We need a lot more info.
What versions of FreePBX and Asterisk? Was this installed from the Distro or hand built? What is the network topology? Are there any console logs you can post? What model of phones ans firmware version?
This is a hosted solution - Remotely connected phones
All logs were deleted at 7:30 this morning (reason unknown)
Phones - Cisco SPA 504g firmware 7.4.7
If you need any other details, let me know…
Also, there are call records from early this morning with calls to: 555-0000 that show answered with a duration of 1 sec or less
I hope you have a firewall running on that box. From the looks of it you may have inadequate security and have been compromised.
