RasPBX is taking too long time to boot/reboot

RasPBX is taking too long time to boot/reboot in Raspberry Pi Model 4 with 8GB RAM
It takes 3 to 5 mins to check for ZRAM
Please guide me how can I reduce this delay in the booting

I’ve never had that reported with:

Boot/Reboot is speedy with or without ZRAM installed.

I don’t have an 8 GB Raspberry Pi 4 to test with, but all is well on a 4 GB model here.

Don’t rely on a Raspberry Pi for important things.

My Pis have a better record in the field than my NUCs, but we have a proven recipe and thorough bench testing before deployment.

If otherwise properly spec’d, I’d take a pair of Pi’s in a warm spare setup over a single ā€œreal PCā€ for many important things.

In the past 7+ years, I’ve owned and used many of every model of Raspberry Pi (1/2/3/4) and haven’t had a single unit fail. The one and only time FreePBX (2.11 - 15) has unexpectedly gone down in that same timeframe was the result of a USB flash drive failure.

In my experience, about seven years, the only reason I have seen for a Pi ā€˜failure’ is when over logging to a sd/usb device, do that to ram and your 10000-100000 writes to sd/usb memory should last for quite a while.

Aside from that, for the OP, this is well written

The SD cards are not super fast. Try booting from a faster USB3 drive.
