Queue ring strategy

Hi all,

I wonder if someone can help, we have a number of queues setup and it appears that some of the available ring strategies do not work, one being linear. If I set the ring strategy to linear the asterisk cli reports it as ringall, and indeed all the static agents phones ring. I need to be able to set the ring order.

We are running freepbx 2.7.02, asterisk 1.4

Any help with be greatly appreciated as I am unable to use queues at the moment.

Doesnt anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

there is no linear strategy in Asterisk until 1.6 for queues the option simply does not exist.

After doing some more searching it appears that asterisk 1.4 doesnt support linear as a strategy.

How are you supposed to set the order that each queue members extensions ring? Is this not a fair basic feature? Or am I trying to use queues in a non standard fashion?
