Question about IVR timeout autohangup

hi ,
i have 8 analog lines
each one is directed to an IVR , and from IVR to QUEUES ,
now assuem i called a number and the ivr answered me , and i didnt enter any digit to get forward to any queue .

it will wait about 20 seconds before hangup the call ,

my question is why there is delay about 20 seconds before clearing the line and be active ??

wherer to modifiy this value ??

i modified the value of ringtimeout in /et/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf to 5000
which mean 5 seconds , but it still 20 seconds before the line be cleared .

any ideas ?

Have you properly configured the “t” option in the IVR?

i configured timeout = 1 in ivr ,

but i didnt see any t option !!

there is no error , but the issue , if the caller leaved while he was on the ivr and didnt press any key ,

the line will be busy unstill about 20 seconds before beeing cleaned , and i want to decrease the 20 seconds .
