QNAP TS-451 and the FreePBX Distro

I just wanted to share that I have installed the FreePBX Distro (64-bit) on my QNAP TS-451 (8GB RAM) on a VM in Virtual Station with 1 core and 1GB of RAM and it runs without problems. It seems like it might be a nice solution for someone that is looking to reduce the number of systems needed.

This is great news! If possible, can you share details like… was it easy to do? Just had to load the ISO into QNAPs virtualization engine? Any tutorials you found helpful? I would love to do this to test v15 with its latest features ( see if it’s worth upgrading right now)

I don’t know if you saw this, but it might be important:

Whatever he did five years ago has almost certainly been OBE.

Sorry for the late reply, the notification went to my junk mail. I’m currently running it in Virtualization Station on a TVS-871 right now, the NAS has an i7 4790S with 16GB of RAM, dual Samsung 512MB NVMe cache drives, and 8 8TB Hitachi NAS drives.

The VM it set as follows:
CPU Emulation: Intel Core i7 (Nehalem Class Core i7)
Cores: 2
RAM: 2GB
OS Type: Linux
Version: CentOS 7.0
HDD: 100GB thin volume

If it went to your ‘junk mail’ just first look as your mail log.
