Problems with Activation on new install FreePBX 17

I thought I went through the activation process during installation of FreePBX17. But it doesn’t recognize that. When I try to open System Admin, I am told the machine is not activated. Hitting the Activate button gets this:

Activation Error!

Unable to display activation page. Error returned was:

Could not resolve host: katanafpbx.schmoozecom.com

I can’t see a solution to this in the forum.
I am able to ping 8.8.8.8 but not ping google.com
So is this a DNS issue?

Seemed to get resolved by putting nameserver 8.8.8.8 in
nano /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head

(this goes back to issues setting up interfaces. Debian 12 pranks)

Also, it may just have been an issue of trying to do the activation using the GUI on a remote machine?? Or both issues??
