Problem to send voicemail to email address

Hi,

I have some problem with my freepbx server.
I have enable email attachement to my extensions, put email address. And when a receive voicemail it dont go to the extension email.

How can I revolve this problem?

Thanks

Regard

Probably has nothing to do with Asterisk/FreePBX.

To check if email is working try:

mail -s “test mail” [email protected] </dev/null

If you don’t get that check that sendmail is working
#service sendmail status
or if using postfix
#service postfix status

If they are running then probably your email server on the receive end is rejecting it or sending it to a spam folder.

My post got cut off for some reason. Let’s try this again.

To check if email is working:
# mail -s “test mail” [email protected] </dev/null
If you don’t get that check if sendmail is working
#service sendmail status
or if using postfix
#service postfix status

If that is running then your receiving email server is rejecting it or sending to spam folder.

All your mail errors can be perused in the mail log, probably /var/log/maillog

I saw mail errors at /var/spool/mail/asterisk

#cat /var/spool/mail/asterisk

This is a MIME-encapsulated message.

Please check and tell me where are problems

Thanks

but when I type in:
# mail -s “test mail” [email protected] </dev/null
Asterisk tell, that, I have a new message…
And when I check, message is there really.
It go to /var/spool/mail/root

You seem to be using postfix, so the errors on individual email messages are in by default /var/log/maillog (Centi) or /var/log/mail.log (Debia).

One problem is your ISP has been added to the various spam blocker lists. You might want to set up gmail as your gateway for emails, or many iof not all of your emails will fail.

Another is that you are trying to send emails from [email protected]
few mail systems will accept that as a valid email from:
