Can the status of your presence change automatically if you make a phone call? At the moment I can change my presence status manually in UCP, but I’d like it to change automatically if I’m on the phone.
Where do you monitor presence? If you use a BLF or FOP2 you should be able to “see” if said extension is on the phone.

There is a presence state and an extension state. What you want is the extension state.
Or to be pedantic, ‘device state’ in Asterisk. All non-virtual extensions also have a hint that tracks device state, and it’s this hint that controls things like LED on BLF buttons.

Ah, thanks for that. I’m used to another system that combines the two states. (‘Unified Communications’ and all that…)
