Is it possible to create a user that can only access the reports? I would like to let the owner view the reports anytime he pleases but do not want him to have access to messing up any of the settings.
You can create an administrator account that just has the right to view system status, when they log in that is all they will see but will be allowed to view the reports screen
I have the message on the “Administrators” module main page that says this does nothing since I do not have authtype=database in the /etc/amportal.conf file. If I make that change, what will that blow up? The wording makes it sound like it has to do with the connection to MySql which could create all kinds of grief!
