Possible NTP bug between Freepbx and Sangoma P370 Phone

I am currently running Freepbx 15.0.37.9 and bought a couple of Sangoma P370 phones and updated their firmware to version 4.25.1.

Configuring them using Endpoint Manager, using the appropriate Sangoma Template, Regional Tab I enter the ntp server (tried both Freeobx and local ntp server addresses and FQDNs). After updating the phones in each case (via Extension Mapping). I noticed that in all cases they were showing the incorrect time.

I checked Freepbx and it was happily using the local ntp server for its time, which was showing as correct.

The time was out by hours and minutes, suggesting this wasn’t just using the wrong timezone.

However since the WebUI is disabled when provisioning from Freepbx, I could not tell whether they had received the appropriate ntp configuration. I was suspecting that they were not receiving ntp configuration info from Freepbx (perhaps they use a different field name or something)

So to test this I decided to perform a factory reset on the phones, then access them via the webui and manually set the ntp configuration on the phones to point to the local ntp server. The reprovision the phones from Freepbx.

If I was correct, then the ntp configuration would not be overwritten and they would continue to work using the manually enter ntp configuration and display the correct time…

After reprovisioning, both phones displayed the correct time and date and continue to do so.

So I am suspecting there is a bug in the ntp provisioning from Freepbx to the P370 pones.
