I have a Polycom SoungPoint IP 5000 conference phone. I assigned it an extension and it is working fine. I did assign it to an intercom group so that when 900 is dialed it becomes an intercom. Unlike my yealink and cisco desktop phones, it does not auto answer when I page 900. The other phones automatically go into speaker phone mode and answer as an intercom should. The polycom 5000 rings, and can only be heard if someone manually presses answer. Anyway to get the polycom 5000 to answer automatically on page 900 but not on a traditional phone call?
I don’t think auto answer is a feature of the SoundStation IP conference phones.
