Polycom running TLS / SRTP unregistering when in ring groups

Is anyone else running Polycom and TLS / SRTP ?

We know that latency plays a role in the polycom registrations over TLS - we put a PBX 180ms away from us and the phones would randomly unregister while sitting idle.

With the PBX 60 ms aways - phones do not unregister unless we get a ring group call. Direct calls and outgoing calls, do not unregister the phone.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

We’re hoping to compare a LAN PBX w/ SRTP & TLS to isolate software or network. We know latency affects registrations, but does it affect registrations during ring groups…
