Has anyone been able to get poly ccx 500 phone work on freepbx system.

Yes, have some ccx 600s and a ccx 700.
Please guide with the configs on the phone.
I have been trying to register one phone and so far have not been successful
Please provide what you have tried, and details, e.g. logs, of what went wrong.
If it is in teams/zoom mode, you will have to go into the settings and change it to generic mode. Then your regular sip registration options should become available.
Yes I did that, and put in the sip settings as required.
Under registration should it be enabled or disabled?
I have set the sip details.
On the freepbx logs it shows
Registration failed wrong pasword.
On the phone under authentication the password is the same as the one that is on freepbx extension password
Did you try to enable this?
Also, are you absolutely sure Asterisk is listening in 5060 for whatever sip channel driver you are using ?
If the ext is PJSIP, write this in the CLI: asterisk -x 'pjsip show transports'
If you see 5160 or any other port, go to your phone and change 5060 to whatever you see in Asterisk (not sure if you can use 10.110.150.1:5160)
For chan_sip use: asterisk -rx 'sip show settings' | grep Bindaddress
If could be that you are listening 5060 for chan_sip or PJSIP, but the extension is configured on a different sip channel driver
Assuming that 5433 is the extension number, set Address (in the identification section) to 5433 and Password to match Secret for the extension.
If no luck, at the Asterisk command prompt type
pjsip set logger on
and post what appears in the Asterisk log on an attempted registration.
Managed to register.
Under address i had put in the freepbx ip
So I changed and put the extn number.
And it registered.
