PJSIP Trunk from Cloud to on-premise (NAT)

Hello there,

I’m trying to setup a PJSIP trunk between two FreePBX instances. One runs in the cloud, one runs on premise behind NAT. My goal is to have a functioning trunk over which I can route calls from and to extensions of eachother.

For the configuration I thought to make use of registration “receive” in the cloud config of the trunk, and “send” on the cloud part. Is my assumption true that I would be able to get a full functioning trunk without any port forwarding done on the on-premise network? Trying this configuration gives me some struggle to get it working. In some tries I get AOR Max contact 1 messages, and in others its fails to authenticate in the cloud.

Any advise on how to approach this?
