Phone will do half a ring and call shows as missed

Every so often i have a issue where a few extensions will ring a half ring and stop, the client app in this case is zoiper biz edition will s how the call as missed.

The fix for me has been to open up there extension, go to the device line on the advanced tab, erase it and submitt and apply config and then extension works normally.

Any ideas what would cause this?

Without more details, I’d guess that your zoiper’s were remote, and that there’s a firewall issue either for the zoiper or the FreePBX.

I found one case where a queue had a timer of 1sec ring time. Users have to love them…
