Pcap Feature -- Stops capturing

Hello all,

I have a user who is intermittently having issues while talking to third parties. We’re trying to use the Pcap Feature to determine if the issue may be the users headset.

We have remote access to the phone and can start and stop the Pcap feature, however, when we go to review the Pcap file with wireshark, we find that the call we’re looking for is not there.

Asides from clicking the Stop button, what other circumstances will cause the phone to stop capturing?


The phone has very limited storage. You will never get the call you need. It’s more to do a quick pcap at a small snapshot in time. If you need a pcap that spans more than 30 seconds you need to do it on the PBX.
