It seems that there is very little information about SMS message routing in PBXAct16 or 17. (I’m using 17)
It seems that SMS is handled natively by SIPStation module, but it seems as if I have one issue that I can’t find a solution for.
If I send an SMS message to my cell phone number using UCP, the message is delivered to my Sangoma Talk Mobile app. Where do I correct this? It seems that I don’t have my cell phone number associated with my user, or any user? Stumped
What you’re seeing is expected behavior with PBXAct + SIPStation, inbound SMS is routed to the user/device mapped to that DID, and if the extension is tied to Sangoma Talk it’ll land there by default; to change it, check the DID assignment in SIPStation (or Inbound Routes if exposed) and verify which extension/user it’s bound to, then adjust the user’s UCP/SMS settings or remove the mobile app association if you want messages to stay in UCP only or go elsewhere.
It should show up in both places. This is not what you see?
