Passing the inbound CID to follow me

OK We have a few boxes all where older freepbx 2.1.1 and some of the dev boxes where the older 2.2 branch

After having tested the 2.1.3 and Ast 1.2.13 and so on, I update the older production boxes running 2.1.1 to 2.1.3 all was good (or so I thought)

I took the dev boxes and moved them to the last release a few days later, as no one had reported any problems (I keep a second system for productions boxes for this stuff)

All is cool…NOT… for some reason the inbound caller ID is not passed on to the follow me end point (cell / home phone) it stills shows correct for the extens.

I have gone over all my notes and can not see where the change happened.

Anyone else having this issue show up???

And the folks who now have the new GUI to play with will not go back to the old GUI, they are all chomping at the bit for the new GUI on the production boxes as well…

But this has me stumped…is it just me or what??

Having the same problem here now with the followme CLID

We have the same problem and we are on version 2.1.2. I think it was a
followme update and not a Freepbx update.

If I remember correctly I had a 2.1.2 temp box and then loaded a new box
with 2.1.2 and then noticed the issue when I replaced the temp box with new
one.

This is also in the 2.2 versions. I’ve been tinkering around trying to get it to work, but haven’t yet.

Hey guys, I found a bug
The “Never Override CallerID” setting in your trunk neeeds to be set.

It appears that somehow the code got the value backwards.
Enable it and let me know if it works for you all as well.

That was it \U know I never saw that box…I mean I guess I have looked at the trunks pages on four or five boxes as of late and GEE I guess I need to wake up.

Where is the switch that needs to be changed — which config file or I am too dumb to understand?

Thanks for holding our hands when need arises’

OK I had to upgrade al the boxes to the RC1 to get this to work once more
(I too spend way too much time going over the old / new conf files)

It is in the GUI under trunks
I really need to spend some time to go thru the GUI as I never saw the Check box as it is not in the older versions of FPBX

I still can not see what changes to break it in the first place, but everyone is happy with the new gui so it is all good.
