I have a Algo 8301 paging adapter. Last week, pages started getting garbled, from any phone. calls from phone to phone are clear. tones (bells) from the algo 8301 are clear. I replaced the 8301, same issue. I deleted and recreated the extension in freepbx. same issue. There is not much different from the paging extension than other user extensions. did something with rtp change in a recent freepbx build?
Isolated the time frame to the last freepbx update. That’s when the garbled rtp stream started happening. Upgraded the firmware on the algo 8301 from v1.5 to v1.6 and the problem went away.
