Hoping someone can shed some light on the inner workings of the Sangoma phone apps and why they would be triggering authentication requests.
We’ve got Microsoft Active Directory integration set up in User Manager, and there are no issues with its function when it comes to passing along User Control Panel authentication. The endpoints, P330 sangoma phones, have got standard soft-keys from the default template. For re-creating the issue I’ve been using the call-log button. If you open the call log over and over again, such as if you’re a forgetful person or a heavy re-dialer, it corresponds with failed login attempts in our AD server that come from the freepbx IP.
It also appears that the phones periodically generate auth requests about once an hour as they check in with the server.
