I am a bit new to this FreePBX - I would like to have some of your experiences. Here is my problem:
On my Freepbx, I have two trunks for two providers. I would like to automatically route outgoing calls to each of these trunks but what happens on my server is that it always sends calls to the first trunk even if we have already set the Dial Number Manipulation Rules (Trunk) and the Dial Patterns for the Outbound route.

Automatically based on what? Below I assume it’s by the number dialed; post details if otherwise.
The Dialed Number Manipulation Rules only modify the number sent on a trunk, once it has been selected (by an Outbound Route). They are rarely needed. They never affect which trunk is chosen.
You need to have (at least) two Outbound Routes. Routes are considered in order, from top to bottom and the first one that matches is used. If no routes match, a “your call cannot be completed as dialed” error is played.
So if trunk A is to be used for specific destinations and trunk B for all others, the first Outbound Route should have a combination of prefix and match pattern that matches only the numbers destined for trunk A. All other numbers will fall through to the next Route, which might match everything (if you don’t need to restrict any destinations), or would match only the numbers destined for trunk B.

Let me explain:
All numbers dialed starting with 032XXXXXXX will be redirected to Trunk A and 033XXXXXXX numbers will be directed to Trunk B.
I’ve already put this on my outbound route but the calls all went out to Trunk A.
Try with the first route match pattern 032X. pointing to trunk A, and the second route match pattern X. pointing to trunk B.
That’s exactly what I did, with a few minor changes.
But even if I dial 033X. from my extension, the call goes out to Trunk A (where 032X. is routed)
I get this message “your call cannot be completed as dialed” when I dial other numbers besides 032X.
Please post screenshots of the Dial Patterns tab and Trunk Sequence tab for both routes.
