Outgoing caller ID

In FreePBX 10.13.66-22, where can I set the default outgoing caller ID?
I don’t want to type the company name and reception phone number for every extension.

Depends.

There are at least five places to set the outgoing CID:

  1. The application (if you’re using a softphone, for example).
  2. The extension (which you’ve already discovered). The Bulk Handler is your friend.
  3. The Outbound Route.
  4. The Outbound Trunk.
  5. Your service provider.

I’d probably start with 4, then 3, then use the Bulk Handler and update the extensions for 2, but that’s just me.
