I would like to set up an outbound trunk that uses a calling card that I have from AT&T.
I’ve set up a custom sip trunk with a custom dial string as follows:
SIP/f9/8002601234wwwwww$OUTNUM$#1234
I then set up an outbound route to point to the above custom trunk.
I was hoping my dial string would achieve the following:
-dial out one of my SIP trunks to an 800 number for the carrier,
-pause for a few seconds and then
-dial the outbound number followed by a #
-then dial the calling card pin…
Unfortunately, This does not work.
I’ve done a lot of searching but everything I’ve found about calling cards is in reference to A2Billing which I don’t believe applies.
Has anybody else done this or have a suggestion?
