We recently replaced another vendors Asterisk system. We installed the PRI card and we are getting complaints that the calls are either getting dropped or not going through. We are finding that the old system gave them an immediate ringtone while the call was being setup. And the users are percieving this time as either a dropped call or not going through. This time lasts as long as 7 seconds. In the FreePBX Distro we installed this “fake” ringtone is absent. Is there a way to add it back?
