For the past 2 weeks I have been fighting this oddity. One new installation fail to consistently generate a ring tone to the caller when an ext is dialed from an IVR. My setting on Asterisk Dial command options: was trwW
Removing the “r” made it work more consistently. Adding it back it stops generating the ring tone to the caller and only when from IVR, from a directory selection it works fine.
Any idea where I need to look or how do I go about troubleshoot this?
Other installations with 2.7 and 2.8 it works fine with the “r” and without.
Another note: It worked ok with the “r” before I upgraded from 2.7 to 2.8.
