I have a FreePBX box that has been up and running great. However, we only ever want one call to ring to an extension at any given time. All calls go through a single queue, that queue is set to “Skip Busy Agents” and all of the agent extensions have call waiting disabled. But alas, occasionally two calls will ring through to an extension at the same time on two separate lines.
If the agents are on the call, it isn’t an issue, but if two inbound calls are happening at near the same time, they both ring to an extension.
Not sure if it makes a difference, but the ring strategy on the queue is “leastrecent”.
Thank you so much for your reply. Let me give this a whirl. This particular box resides on the other side of the world, so they should be up and doing business in the next few hours. I will monitor to see if running the command helps, but if it does not, I will capture a log.
