Probably a stupid question, but how do I set my new 57i to read the time from the FreePBX box or an NTPD server? I have NTPD running on the Asterisk box, “time server” enabled on the phone and pointed it to the asterisk box. But every time I restart the phone, it defaults to 1/1/2000. Do I need to set anything else?
Sorry, guys, perhaps I am a bit too impatient %-)
I left the phone alone for an hour or so, and the time magically updated to the correct one. Looks like it just takes a while to synch…
