Not sure on Debian 12/freePBX17 upgrade

Building a system to test Debian 12 and freePBX 17. I stood up a Debian 12 vm, ran the install script, and completed the standard base configuration processes.

During my latest effort to update the OS, I get:

When I run apt upgrade, the message is returned that freepbx17 is held back.

What am I missing?

The following packages have been kept back: freepbx17

“freepbx17” package is for initial Freepbx setup which we should not update , that’s why kept on hold. I will see if we can remove this from the package list to avoid this message,

Thank you for the information, David. So, I will continue to apt update / apt upgrade the Debian 12 host OS and ignore the ‘held back’ freepbx17 package?

Yes. Just ignore the held back package warnings.
